Kelly Austin
Built Environments Project Manager
Kelly has over 10 years’ experience as a visual artist with works held both nationally and internationally in public collections. Her sculptural practice is about finding complex harmonies through combining numerous competing elements and materials.
Kelly work has been exhibited in curated exhibitions across Australia, Canada and The United States of America. In 2018, her work received a high commendation from the Bienniale North Queensland Ceramics Awards in Townsville and in 2019, Kelly received The National Still Life Prize from Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery. In 2021, her work was included in the Women’s Art Prize, Tasmania and in 2022 was exhibited at HeidiMOMA, Melbourne.
As Futago’s Built Environment Project Manager, Kelly brings an essential skillset: the ability to communicate with fabricators, research, high level conceptual thinking and distillation, time/ budget management and project coordination.
