Luke Pendergast

Intern 2015

Luke Pendergast

Design Intern

Luke was chosen as our second intern for 2015, he managed to juggle 3 days a week with Futago, while finishing his Honours at Tasmanian School of Art (now TCoTA).

Prior to completing his Honours, Luke graduated from TCoTA's  Bachelor of Visual Communications course. Before starting his uni degree Luke spent a few years working in an architectural office where he decided he’d like to try graphic design for a career.

A passionate designer, Luke's strength is creating mash-up-collage-style graphics. Luke’s role at Futago was to assist the designers and the studio manager in developing creative concepts, and preparing finished art for print, web, signage and environmental design projects.

He also assisted Raj in day-to-day goings on of the studio, helping out with design research, and attended client and team meetings.

Favourite Futago project?

My favourite project is definitely Pagan Cider. I love the collage approach to the illustrations and graphics, it's very close to my own personal style.
