PROJECT: 'Project', Rose Bay High School

BRIEF: This work is an Artsite commission for a new dance and drama facility at Rose Bay High School. The work is composed of a number of large–scale figures that appear to be dancing across the facade. The figures are fabricated from many powdercoated aluminium angles fixed directly to the cement sheet facade. The form and shadows of the figures are articulated by changes in length or thickness of the aluminium angles. Throughout the day the protrusion of the angles creates a sense of movement via changing shadows.
