PROJECT: Gasworks Cellar Door

BRIEF: The Gasworks Cellar Door, is a new business model in Tasmania, where wineries from across the state are showcased. The heritage building consists of three rooms which are dedicated to describing the particularities of each region — east, south & north — as well a central foyer describing the history of wine-making in Tasmania. The concept, developed by the architects, is for it to be a gallery-like experience where people can enjoy a glass of wine and read about Tasmanian wine. The project involved Preston Lane Architects and, Chris Viney who developed the interpretive content.
