PROJECT: The Taste Festival 09/10 & 10/11

In 2008 Futago commenced development of a new identity to revitalise the annual Taste Festival (formally Hobart Summer Festival & Taste of Tasmania). Our solution was to focus on the sensory aspects of the festival, creating a more sophisticated summer style. This was achieved through simple typography combined with colourful, atmospheric photography. Each year the key colour is changed, which defines each year's event and helps keep the design fresh.The identity has been applied across varied media, including a 32 page guide, postcards, posters, television ads, media ads and site signage.
