PROJECT: 'Trail of the Tasmanian Tiger'

Originally conceived by Interpretation Consultant Anna Housego, The Trail of the Tasmanian Tiger was created to enhance visitors' experience of Launceston's Cataract Gorge. On-site interpretive elements include; information panels, sculptural seating & a 'treasure' hunt. A 'Discovery Pack' was developed to complement these & provide more in-depth information. Our design approach involved mixing vibrant colours, natural materials & historical images. The qualities of the Tasmanian Tiger as an elusive, precious creature are communicated through layered materials & hidden imagery.
