PROJECT: Amplified 2010 & 2009
Local music industry event 'Amplified' was re-branded to more accurately reflect the Hobart independent music scene. In doing this it needed to appeal to a very wide variety of musical styles, from heavy metal to jazz, hip hop and alternative rock. Wanting to avoid cliched musical images that would suggest any particular genre, our solution was to evoke the attitude of the scene and the literal meaning of the word 'amplified'. The resulting design was applied to a variety of applications including program, cd case, posters and signage.
